I can tell this was used by a kid due to the finger tape on the board...

What Company is it made by?
    How old is it?
    How long was it used?
Is the bow made of wood or plastic?

heh, now when you put it that way, this thread is pretty funny. Nothing bad on your violin, just that my past experience with them put them around 50 for a custom bridge fitted for the violin. If the action is too high like my first one, it'll hurt all the time. Guess I got ripped back then... then again mine is about 70 years old now...but $250 is a good price on a violin anywhere. bump

Yeah I guess you did. If the strings were a bit high, all you needed was some sandpaper to take the bridge down a little to where you like it.

...damn, and i thought i was the only one on here who has ever even touched a violin...this is just a whole forum full of dorks, isnt it that is a pretty good price though, although some more info on it would def help, but ur best bet might be to just take it to a music shop
